Norman Reedus and Hideo Kojima have been friends for a long time. The two collaborated on Konami's doomed "Silent Hills" title, but their friendship appears to remain strong. So it is no wonder that "The Walking Dead" star decided to poke fun at Konami with an Instagram photo featuring Sony's newest game director.
Hideo Kojima has just debuted his new game "Death Stranding" at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 (via Kotaku). Not surprisingly, it is a new collaboration with Norman Reedus.
The game's E3 2016 debut was well-received. It probably also helped that "Death Stranding" featured a naked Norman Reedus.
The "Death Stranding" successful introduction at E3 2016 has led to the "TWD" star posting a cheeky image of Hideo Kojima on Instagram.
OK, so that is clearly an edited image. Nevertheless, it is certain that Norman Reedus is still unhappy with Konami's decision to cancel "Silent Hills" and axe Hideo Kojima.
Prior to the "Death Stranding" debut at E3 2016, Norman Reedus spoke to Deadline about "The Walking Dead" Season 7. The man who plays Daryl Dixon hinted on big things happening when the AMC show returns.
"It's a brand new world right now, man," Reedus said. "We have big bad guy and that opens up our world quite a bit and changes everything."
Norman Reedus continued by stating there will be "a shift of power" in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. He said that the characters will have to "deal with this new world and this new villain."
In addition to that, Reedus teased that "The Walking Dead" Season 7 could follow Robert Kirkman's comic book storyline.
"If you know the comic books, it opens up even larger than that," he said.
"The Walking Dead" Season 7 is expected to return to AMC this fall. Keep tuned for more updates on Hideo Kojima's "Death Stranding" at E3 2016.
