The highly anticipated "Mafia III" has finally debuted at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016. The official trailer offers a look at the new 2K title's gameplay as well as the riveting storyline.
The "Mafia III" E3 2016 trailer introduces Lincoln Clay, a man who has connections to the black mob (via ComicBook). When the Italian Mafia kills the black mob, Clay sets out to create a new family. The new black mob then goes after the Mafia in 2K's new title.
An excerpt of the synopsis reads as follows:
"Choose your own personal play-style, from brute force and blazing guns to stalk-and-kill tactics as you use Lincoln's military training and gathered intel to tear down the Italian Mafia. Build a new criminal empire in your own unique way by deciding which of your lieutenants you reward and which you betray..."
The footage from the "Mafia III" E3 2016 trailer also shows an amazing attention to detail. The new title certainly allows the player to find different strategies to succeed.
"Mafia III" executive producer Denby Grace also explained that the game has several options for the player.
"Each criminal racket within 'Mafia III' is made up of various different, differing objectives," Grace stated before offering some details about the title's gameplay.
"All of the open world activities in the game and quests and missions are all linked to the main narrative of this criminal racket," Grace continued. "The player picks and chooses which ones they want to complete in order to do enough damage to that racket, lure that hideout boss out to defend his turf, so to speak."
