“Rizzoli and Isles” is counting down its episodes and from the looks of it, each one has a special link to the other. But while the first two episodes are over and one with, the show’s stars may be in for a gripping plot by the time the fourth episode comes around.
While episode 3 tackles on a murder at a Zombie convention, the fourth episode involves another murder that, at first, seems less complicated. But based on the synopsis from Spoiler TV, there could be more to the simple killing of the mailman, with the injection of a postal inspector who believes the death is tied up to something bigger, a conspiracy.
Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) is likely to be at the head of the investigation though her partner’s role (Dr. Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander)) on the issue seems a bit undefined for now. With Maura still struggling with her injuries, it will be interesting how the show producers will get the two onboard.
The whole plot could start off on episode 3 where the curious question of whether there is actually a zombie roaming around exists per Design & Trend. The episode will see Vince Korsak (Bruce McGill) explaining to Rizzoli that they were costumes to hide their true identities.
Further to that, the blood will be hard to figure out from real and fake, bringing up that angle of a zombie in the mix. The scenario isn’t new anymore, having seen it from other shows that there will eventually be a culprit that they may have not double checked.
Could there be a connection between episode 3 and 4? Probably, probably not.
A point for consideration that being the last season following the show’s cancellation, anything is possible – including tying up the cases for one bigger evil ahead.
There will only be 13 episodes for this one before curtains fall so for the “Rizzoli and Isles” fan, it may be best not to miss them per USA Today.
