There are rumors swirling that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 just might be its last. Although "The Big Bang Theory" is one of the most successful TV shows to date, the rumors are trying to remind everyone that all good things must come to an end.
'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10: Will this be the final season?
According to E! News, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 star Kunal Nayyar said that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 is the last as his contract stands now.
"To be completely honest, I know people are gonna want to know what happens after season 10. I don't know what's going to happen," Kunal Nayyar said.
However, Nayyar followed up his comments by saying that he would love to continue the show after "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10.
As it turns out, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 lead actors, Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), and Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter) signed a new three-year contract back in 2014 to retain their "The Big Bang Theory" characters.
This isn't the first time that "The Big Bang Theory" was talked about ending after season 10. Showrunner Stephen Darrow said that he believed "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will be the last in an interview back in 2015, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
"I think so. I can't speak to the future or on behalf of the cast or where we'll be then but it's certainly possible that it could go past that," Darrow said at the time.
'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10: When will we see Bernadette's baby?
According to TV Line, Bernadette's baby will not be the main focus of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10.
Although the pregnancy of Bernadette was one of the highlights of the show and having the baby for the premiere of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 is ideal, the show's executive producer Steve Molaro noted that they will take Bernadette's pregnancy like a real pregnancy and they will take it "slow."
"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will premiere on CBS sometime this fall.
