In spite of revealing only the preview of the play, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is being deemed as the theatrical event of the decade. The sample performance at Palace theater in London on Tuesday left the fans in awe as it even surpassed what was expected.

In fact, it even has a thousand of book reviews from fans on Goodreads even if no one has read it yet. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is considered as the eighth installment of the "Harry Potter" series that will continue the tale of Harry Potter's son, Albus Severus.

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" theater play will officially start on July 30 while the book version will be released on July 31, Den of Geek cited.

Meanwhile, J.K. Rowling pleaded the fans to keep the plot's story a secret, which was even reminded with a badge given to the preview's audience members.
