UFC 150 Henderson Vs Edgar Results: UFC Undisputed 3 Find Out Who Wins

Former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar and current champion Benson Henderson delivered fireworks in their February title match. After losing by decision to Henderson at UFC 144, Edgar called for an immediate rematch. Their second fight is set to take place in the main event of UFC 150 at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

So I decide to conduct an official simulation of UFC 150's main event, using the Xbox 360 version of UFC Undisputed 3.

Here is how the fight went.

Round1:

The bell sounds and the two fighters step to the center of the octagon. Henderson lands quickly, backing up Edgar and setting up the takedown. He pulls Edgar to the canvas, but Edgar is able to escape back to the standing position.

Edgar begins to get comfortable and fights in his typically fast pace style, he circles the center of the cage and lands quick strikes. Henderson looks to close the distance and eats a couple of jabs, before landing a few strikes of his own. Two minutes into the fight and Henderson is turning the momentum in his favor by making Edgar pay for striking with him.

Edgar continues to lunge forward with punches, but Henderson is attacking with a greater variety of strikes. Henderson lands a head kick that sends Edgar to the canvas. He follows him to the floor and is trying to improve his position from within Edgars' guard. He is landing a few strikes to Edgar's body but nothing significant. The round ends with Ben Henderson gaining the mount but unable to land a significant strike before the bell sounds.

Round 2

Henderson comes out swinging in the second round and chases the former champ around the cage. The two fighter spend the better part of the early minutes of the round boxing each other in the center of the cage. Edgar lands a kick to the midsection of his opponent and utilizes it to take him down midway through the round, but Henderson is able to get back to his feet. Frankie lands a solid right followed by a leg kick, before rushing in for a takedown attempt. Henderson sprawls and the two fighters return to the standing position.

Henderson lands a good combination that staggers Edgar and cuts him open. Edgar initiates the clinch, but Henderson is still getting the best of him, landing an elbow to Edgar's jaw. Henderson pulls away from the clinch and lands a three hit combo that sends Edgar falling face first to the canvas.

Henderson follows him to the ground and secures Edgar's back with a body-triangle and from this poistion is able to lock on a rear naked choke. Edgar taps with just under a minute remaining in the second round and Ben Henderson is victorious and retains his UFC lightweight belt.

UFC Undisputed 3 was released February for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
