Fans of the game have been clamoring for a definite "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date and updates on the game. As usual, Bethesda has remained mysteriously silent on the issue leading some to use their powers of imagination of deductive reasoning to come up with speculations instead. Here are some of those recent speculations.
Is "Skyrim 2" the Official Name Of "The Elder Scrolls 6"?
Bethesda VP Pete Hines, in an interview with Telegraph, mentioned "Skyrim 2." He explained that unlike other game developers, Bethesda does not make games every year or two as they're focused on quality not quantity.
The message here is two-fold. First, people who fear that Bethesda might no longer be doing an "Elder Scrolls 6" can now relax. It seems it's definitely being considered but the gaming community needs to be patient a bit longer. Bethesda is taking its time to create this one.
Another speculation is that Hines might just have revealed the official title of the "The Elder Scrolls 6." People have been calling the upcoming game that but it could actually be "The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim 2" as Hines stated in the interview.
Recent Speculations on "The Elder Scrolls 6" Release Date
Moving to the most frustrating topic, what is "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date? Of course, everybody knows there is no definite answer to that yet but the speculations are plentiful.
For instance, Nuerogadget is pretty confident that the "Elder Scrolls 6" release date is not likely to be this year.
For now, it seems that the company is quite busy with other games like "Fallout 4." This could be the reason that the company is not mentioning "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date at the moment.
Another reason is that Bethesda has an established pattern when it comes to releasing "The Elder Scrolls" games which is around every four years or so. For example, 2002 saw the release of "Morrowind, which was followed by "Oblivion" after 4 years in 2006, and then "Skyrim" in 2010 which was also 4 years.
With the 2015 release of "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited," 5 years after "Skyrim," the countdown has reset. Fans could then be expecting the next installment 3 or 4 years from now, or "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date by 2019 or 2020.
But the upcoming E3 event could shed light to some of these lingering questions. It is still possible that Bethesda will divulge further details about the highly anticipated game to fans, which could include "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date, updates and official title.
Stay tuned for more "Elder Scrolls 6" updates.
