2K and Hanger 13 are expected to lift the covers over its 1960s-themed game “Mafia 3” on October 7 which will include a ‘Collector’s Edition’. The contents of that special pack have been detailed , something that will cost avid gamers $150 to purchase.
For that price, the “Mafia 3” Collector’s Edition will include two 180-gram vinyls (dubbed the “Official Soundtrack of New Bordeaux”), which will contain greatest hits from the 60s. The second vinyl will carry mostly the original game scores as composed by Jesse Harlin and Jim Bonney.
Among the tracks to expect include that of popular hits like “Paint It, Black” by the Rolling Stones and “All Along the Watchtower” from Jimi Hendrix. Another track to expect is “The House of the Rising Sun” from The Animals.
Aside from that, other goodies for the “Mafia 3” Collector’s Edition will include collectible art prints, an art book, faux leather coasters, Lincoln Clay dog tags and a Season Pass.
“Mafia 3” will be release versions made for the PC, PS4 and the Xbox One.
First Look at “Mafia 3” during E3
While the “Mafia 3” Collector’s Edition should be something to look forward to, there is the actual game to look forward to. Though it will take several more months of waiting, expectant gamers may get the chance to see what the upcoming game has to offer via E3 2016.
IGN bares that through a partnership with 2K and Hanger 13, gamers will get an exclusive look of “Mafia 3” at the upcoming event. This includes exclusive first looks of the game through an E3 demo.
Other than these, IGN mentions that they will also sit down with the Hanger 13 development team to answer queries tied up to the next “Mafia” franchise.
The “Mafia 3” E3 World Premiere will air on June 12, 2016 starting at 8:30 p.m. ET/ 5:30 p.m. PT, streamed live from the Los Angeles Convention Center. The broadcast can be viewed via IGN.com or through available apps you can find here.
