Sony announced some "Tekken 7" details at the press conference during the Paris Games Week 2015. However, in a typical Tekken news fashion, some things are unclear and other people are spreading some misinformation about the game.
'Tekken 7' official announcement
There were two things that were announced about "Tekken 7" at the press conference. First, "Tekken 7" is coming out for PlayStation 4. Second, "Tekken 7" will support PlayStation VR. But what about the other platforms like Xbox One and PC?
There were also some interesting announcements at the event. Sony made an effort to label every type of exclusives they had with each of the game they showed. Some game showed PS4 exclusive, others were PS4 First or Beta First but, for "Tekken 7," they labeled it as "Exclusive Content" in the trailer.
'Tekken 7' arriving on Xbox One and PC?
Attack Of The Fanboy reports that a Bandai Namco representative allegedly said that "Tekken 7" will be released on Cbox One and PC as well. The site shared that Twitter user, YellowMotion, claimed that he spoke to a Bandai Namco representative who told him that the game would be out on the Xbox One and the PC after all, in addition to the PS4.
"Its Namco rep from MCMComicCon London. So yes TEKKEN7 for PC and XB1 I believe it too. E3 is just two weeks away!" YellowMotion tweeted on Monday, May 30. Bandai Namco has yet to confirm or deny this update by the Twitter user.
New and improved 'Tekken 7'
"Tekken 7" makes use of the impressive Unreal Engine 4 engine for the first time in the series, offering a true new-generation and realistic experience. In addition to the fantastic graphics, many new characters will also join the fight, in addition to popular characters, like Kazuya and Xiaoyu.
