Good news has again come for those who love to play "Minecraft" game! Recently, creator Mojang, together with Microsoft and 4J, is giving "Minecraft" console edition and person versus person battle mode. The competitive multiplayer mode will only be available for console players and will not even cost one cent.
As of right now, the "Minecraft" person versus person battle mode is still in the works. However, according to the official blog post of Microsoft Xbox One site, the coming person versus person battle mode in "Minecraft" will be arriving this June. There was no specific date as to when in June, but most likely it will be on the second week or last week, depending if there are no hiccups along the way of the reveal of "Minecraft" person versus person battle mode.
The "Minecraft" person versus person battle mode is called "Battle" and it will be the first of mini games that will be release for "Minecraft" console edition. The blog post of Microsoft Xbox One further commented on "Minecraft" Battle saying that it will "set up a competitive multiplayer fight for survival, where speed, strategy, and sometimes pure luck will make you the winner".
Players in "Minecraft" Battle matches will use randomly generated resources found in chests placed in the person versus person maps and will combat each other in a free for all death match until one victor comes out. "Minectraft" Battle matches can be played by groups of four by split-screen and up to eight players online via Xbox Live.
The official month of release for "Minecraft" Battle mode will be on June and it will be available for free for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and other consoles via a game update. The update of "Minecraft" Battle will also include three new maps.
Furthermore, there will also be a paid downloadable content for "Minecraft" Battle mode, which is additional Map Pack add-ons for $2.99. Stayed tuned in GamenGuide for more "Minecraft" news and updates!
