"The Legend of Zelda" Wii U release date is still more or less a year away, but 500 lucky fans will be given the chance to play the game on Wii U before anyone else. It has been a long time coming for "The Legend of Zelda" fans since the highly-anticipated game's release date has been delayed to 2017, making its debut alongside the mysterious console, Nintendo NX.
Nintendo giving 500 fans a chance to play "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U in June
According to IGN, "The Legend of Zelda" fans will get their chance to be one of the 500 players to be chosen on June 11 at the Nintendo store in New York City. The site noted that, "All you’ve got to do is turn up on the day with photo ID (kids must be present with a parent or guardian) and if you’re one of the first 500 people in line, you’ll receive a wristband which can then be traded in for a ticket to the demo event."
Unfortunately, not all who will sign up for the event will be chosen as Nintendo clearly specified that they will only allow 500 fans to play "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U. For those who will not get the ticket can still enjoy and participate in the five-day event from June 14 - June 19.
According to Gamespot, the event will be full packed where fans will see some "The Legend of Zelda" demos and trivia and they can get the chance to win some amazing prizes. But for those who cannot go to the event due to some circumstances, perhaps they can enjoy the hype of "The Legend of Zelda" through trading cards.
Because there's no such thing as too much of "The Legend of Zelda" merchandise, EB Games Australia is releasing "Legend of Zelda" trading cards featuring Twilight Princes, A Link Between Worlds, Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword. "The Legend of Zelda" fans will truly enjoy these themed trading cards for these are the most popular games in the series.
Here's what you'd get in "The Legend of Zelda" Trading Cards:
Each booster pack costs $6 AUS and comes with six random cards and one decal or tattoo. You can get the Value Pack for $20 AUS which includes four packs of random cards, a decal or tattoo, a poster, and a Collectors Pin. There are 85 cards in the base set of "The Legend of Zelda," foil cards, 23 regulars, 12 stickers and nine Tattoos.
