Grand Theft Auto is easily one of the biggest videogame franchises in history, and the next title in the series, Grand Theft Auto 5, is expected to raise the experience to new heights. As of yet, very little is known about the next addition, except that it's set in the Los Angeles-inspired city of Los Santos, last seen in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and players will take on the role of a reformed criminal who finds himself forced back into the game.
However, there's a good chance that some new GTA details, specifically the release date, might (emphasis on might) be revealed in just a few hours from now. Take Two is having its first investor call later this afternoon for fiscal year 2013. The call takes place at 4:30 PM Eastern time, so any (possible) news that surfaces should show up later this evening (if at all).
Apart from GTA, Take Two is also expected to disclose its plans for other games as well, including XCOM and Bioshock Infinite, and most importantly GTA 5.
Take Two will not be showing GTA 5 at the upcoming Gamescom event, so this will likely be our best shot at some GTA news for a while. Keep your fingers crossed, and we'll let you know what we hear.
