WWE Extreme Rules 2016 rumors: More Storylines That Title-changes Likely To Happen [POLL, VIDEO]

WWE Extreme Rules takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey starting at 8 p.m. ET with all WWE titles on the line. But the question now is whether there will be title changes happening?

Skimming through the lot, WWE heavyweight champion Roman Reigns puts his title on the line against AJ Styles, a Fatal-Four-Way match for the Intercontinental title currently held by “The Miz”, Kalisto defending his United States title against Rusev, “The New Day” defending the WWE tag team titles against “The Vaudevillains” and Charlotte defending her WWE Women’s title once more against Natalya.

Of the mix, the only possible title change that could happen is the one involving Kalisto and Rusev. The “Bulgarian Brute” obviously has the size-advantage but Kalisto could pepper a surprise.

Rusev has been long rumored as getting the push once more so among the title matches, this is perhaps the only one likely to change hands.

And the others?

While a Fatal-Four-Way could be tough to overcome, “The Miz” is likely to retain with some help from his wife Maryse. There is too much color added to that match (with reference to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn) meaning the match will technically see Cesaro and “Miz” focusing on the match.

The Women’s title will likely see another “screw job” like the one witnessed by many at WWE Payback meaning Ric Flair may get involved once more. The same goes for the “New Day” who are likely to either keep the titles via disqualification or through a miscalculated maneuver by “The Vaudevillains”.

How about the main event? Reigns and Styles have stirred up storylines in the past weeks and should third parties get involved this is a match likely to get out of hand. “The Club” members (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) may have a match with “The Usos” but that may not prevent them from helping their comrade. The same holds true for Reigns as well who is likely to get aid from his cousins.

For the non-title matches, the “Asylum” match should be something to see. The obvious favorite is Dean Ambrose who will likely win this one but not until he and Chris Jericho are badly battered.
