In a series that's given us characters like a farting dinosaur and a boxing kangaroo, it's not unusual to see things like an E.Honda styled flying sumo wrestler. Such is just one of the things you'll see in Tekken Tag Tournament 2's fight lab trailer, not to mention a giant bikini clad Feng Wei, and a panda in a tutu. But I've said enough, check it out below!
As you can see, the Tekken fight lab is more than just a training mode to teach you the basics of bad ass combos.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will have the most characters in the franchise's history at over 50, including all the characters from the last installment, Tekken 6. Namco recently announced that fighters Forest Law, dinosaur Alex, Tiger, and P-Jack would be returning. Rap star Snoop Dogg will also be making a special appearance in the game with his own unique stage, as well as a song created specifically for the game, "Knocc 'Em Down."
The game will also come up a copy of the movie "Tekken: Blood Vengeance," and an HD version of the first Tekken Tag game, which was met with great reception, selling over 4 million copies and was greeted with excellent reviews. PSM declared it as the best game of the series in 2008.
The sequel will develop the previous game's mechanics and allow for more flowing tag combos and combined moves.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 comes out for PS3 and Xbox 360 in September. The game will also be released for Nintendo's upcoming Wii U, though a date has not yet been announced.
