The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is slowly gaining steam and now recent leaks show the device with a combo design look mixing gold with some rugged edges. The upcoming device is expected to be available exclusively via AT&T by June 10.
Samsung has a lot of phones on its end and one that comes to mind is the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. The model is available exclusively via AT&T and recent leaks point to a possible debut on June 10 with some noticeable enhancements.
That includes a design many refer to as a “desert camo” look from the mix of textured gold design that is ably surrounded by a thick rubber bumper. From all indications, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active will live up to its billing as a rugged phone for use.
Made for the Outdoor life
With that in mind, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is more than likely to be dust, shock and water-resistant ideal for outdoors. This indicates as well that the said handset will be adapting the same IP68 rating which current S7 models have.
The textured scheme should make sense, especially for the ones who will end up bringing and using it outdoors. Such should make it better to grip/handle, particularly for the ones who end up with wet or dusty hands outdoors.
Aside from the gold version, it is believed that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is likely to come in a green color option, hinting at a probably military camouflage design.
What is inside?
The design could be something for the folks who frequent the outdoors and are in need of a rough-end device but mobile phones are simply not enough unless they get to see the specs. It is believed that the Galaxy S7 Active will come with a 5.5-inch QHD display and bank on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
4 GB of RAM will aid up the SoC and may also offer up to 32 GB of internal storage. A 12 MP main camera may append the features list plus a 5 MP front-facing shooter as well. It is also expected to feature military-grade MIL-STD-810 rating.
