Madden NFL 13: Screenshots

Couple new screenshots were released for what will undoubtedly be another mega-hit for EA, Madden NFL '13. Click START above to check 'em out.

There's a laundry list of changes coming to one of gaming's most popular franchises. For one thing, 82 hours worth of commentary will be provided by CBS broadcasters Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, both of who will appear in-game (no you can't tackle them) in cut scenes. There will also be new crowd noise, which was recorded with 24 microphones, as opposed to 4 microphones in previous years.

As far as gameplay goes, you can expect to see:

* New pass animations, trajectories, and ball speeds.
* Pump fakes directed toward specific receivers.
* More than 430 new catch animations to improve receiving.
* New moves for avoiding the pass rush.
* Revamped special teams coverage.
* Cover and lane logic integration.
* New animations allow for simultaneous tackles.
* Defenders use different coverage techniques.
* New Infinity Engine improves tackle animations, and player interaction outcomes, including a balance system.
* And to the chagrin of many, "Tebowing."

Madden NFL '13 is out August 28, for Sony's PS3 and Vita, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii.
