New photos of the alleged iPhone 7 leaked Monday on Weibo, a Chinese social media website. The images of the newest Apple flagship have sparked confusion amongst onlookers, as its expected features were nowhere to be found.
The iPhone 7 was initially believed to have a dual lens camera and a Smart Connector at the bottom of the device. However, Tech Insider reported that the leaked iPhone 7 photo had none of those features.
On the other hand, BGR reported that the iPhone 7 flagship will come in three variants: a 4.7-inch iPhone 7 model, a 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus model and the alleged 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Pro model. The latter is believed to feature the dual lens rear camera and Smart Connector.
Apparently, the leaked iPhone 7 photo also noticeably doesn't have a headphone jack, which is pretty accurate with previous iPhone 7 rumors. AppleInsider also notes that the leaked iPhone 7 image features two holes between the lens and camera flash.

Previous iPhone models have been known to have only one hole in between the two. One of the holes has been deemed to be a rear microphone, but many are still left perplexed about the second hole's purpose.

Reports speculate that the additional hole could possibly be another microphone. However, its purpose could possibly be for "stereo sound recording," although the smaller size has left experts to doubt such functionality.
As previous rumors suggested, the leaked iPhone 7 photo does show that the antenna bands have been redesigned, fully eliminating the white stripes at the back of the phone. Instead, the iPhone 7 antenna bands are seen on the edges on the top and bottom of the phone.
Onlookers are anticipating Apple's release of the iPhone 7 and its variants sometime in September, per the company's usual annual reveal. BGR further claims that Apple will start selling the iPhone 7 not long after it is unveiled.
