In the wake of The Avengers, Marvel recognized the need for a new super-powered team to rise up and safely guide us through the Internet. But then we got the rejects instead.
All Winners Squad is a new web show from the House of Ideas that dredges the most obscure characters and brings them together with three cult icons to run the daily office life at Marvel. From Squirrel Girl and Howard the Duck to Ruby Thursday (she's real) to the Walrus (also embaressingly real), All Winners Squad feels like the type of show that would be the norm on Adult Swim. But living on Marvel's YouTube channel, we have a chance to take the obscure Internet jokes to the extreme with Howard The Duck referencing "Days of Future Past" and Paste Pot Pete getting furious when no one calls him by his current name (The Trapster, FYI).
We can't wait for the ongonig adventures led by Mr. Fish and his meme-friendly group.
