The newest trailer for Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth got a new trailer, and gives us our first glimpse of the Skrulls. Check it out below!
If you can't trust Cap, who can you trust? Set around the Secret Invasion story line, this new trailer ups the roster. As of the last trailer, we've seen characters include Wolverine, Venom, Magneto, Spiderman, Storm, as well as the recent Avengers seen in this clip. But are they the actual Avengers, or merely alien imposters? That remains to be seen. Though we've yet to see them, Loki and Doctor Strange have also been confirmed.
The games was inspired by the "Secret Invasion" storyline and features 20 different characters. If the comic can be used as any kind of guideline, we may also see Namor, Elektra, Black Bolt, Professor X, and even Spidey baddie Norman Osborne, possibly more. Likewise, settings may include the Savage Land, Phantom Zone, and the Raft prison facility.
Each character will have four unique super powers, and motion gameplay will be used to unleash super attacks, velocity boosts, breakers and frenzies. Alternate costumes and collector cards can unlocked to players throughout the game. The game's gameplay has been described as “Fans of fighting games or of the Marvel Universe are going to love the extensive combinations of characters, motion-controlled moves and competitive gameplay.”
Battle for Earth will be released this Fall for the Wii U, and XBox 360.
