Tom Clancy’s ‘The Division’ Compensates Players Affected By Bug; DLC To Root Out Exploits?

Perhaps as a way of an apology, Ubisoft is giving free credits to players who are affected by the bugs in Tom Clancy's "The Division." Meanwhile, the new DLC will weed out those who try to cheat out the system.

The report claimed that "The Division" will distribute Phoenix Credits to players who found that playing the game has been less than stellar due to the bugs and glitches.

And the reward is noteworthy as they get to receive 500 Phoenix Credits which they can use to purchase gears, or crafting items for gun parts, tools, electronics and division techs. They will also receive 10 of the high-end crafting materials.

Players can expect the rewards in the next two weeks. But Ubisoft is also compensating all players in general, for a limited time only. Those who will log in to "The Division" this weekend will get 150 Phoenix Credits.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft is really cracking down on the exploits with its latest "The Division" DLC. In fact, in its official forum thread, Ubisoft did not mince words when it warned cheating players against using exploits.

Naturally, the announcement of Ubisoft with regards to the exploits in Tom Clancy's "The Division" DLC got the anticipated reception from some of the players who complained why they are being punished for a glitch in the system that the developer didn't address int eh first place.

A sub-Reddit thread called out Ubisoft for its actions against exploits.

Posted by CarpeBedlam, the poster said that the developer was tasked to deliver the final product to customers who expected that what they purchased contained no issues. Ubisoft is also responsible in making sure that the system will not be hacked by some of the cheaters.

Nevertheless, as these things go, players will have no choice but to adhere to the code of conduct set by Ubisoft or risk of being excluded out of playing Tom Clancy's "The Division." When they do download the DLC, it would not be prudent to still use exploits to improve their ranks.
