If you haven't had the chance to grab some of your favorite games on Steam, now is your last chance. Effective 10:00 am PST today, the sale ends and you lose out on some of the best deals 2015 had to offer. Before you binge on Counter Strike games, here's a short list we've compiled that include some of the best games with the biggest discounts.
- Elder Scrolls Online. The game is a massive success and it's on sale for 60% off. It's the best time to start playing this multi-awarded MMORPG and finally get that expensive Imperial edition.
- Batman: Arkham City (Game of the Year) Edition. This includes Batman: Arkham City and all the DLCs. On sale for 75% off the original price. This game is the sequel to the equally successful Arkham Asylum, a must-have for any fan of the Dark Knight. Ironically enough, the Arkham Knight title was not included in the Winter Sale.
- Grim Dawn. A spiritual successor of Titan Quest and the dark horse of the ARPG world. The price of this game was already considerably cheap and was slashed 40% more during the sale. It has all the character progression and skill customization that Diablo 3 loss from its previous title. A good buy on ANY day.
- Mad Max. If you thought the movie was great, the game is even better. The sale has brought down the price by 66%. An open-world adventure where you get to customize your skills as Max and trick out your ride to make you worthy of Valhalla. This game looks absolutely stunning, even on medium settings.
- Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. This game drew a lot of flak for being too easy and repetitive. From our perspective, it was a great game with great graphics and good solid elements that make us play long after we've finished the game.... three times. The price on this game was slashed by 66% and the decision to buy it is not as difficult as walking into Mordor.
Apart from the solid titles we've presented, we also encourage our readers to try the games published by small companies. They're cheap and they offer a unique and out-of-the-ordinary (mostly weird) experience.
