The PS4 and Xbox One release of Batman Arkham Knight works perfectly and was (and still) being enjoyed by gamers, and when the PC version of the game was released, the other platform gamers were thrilled and cannot wait to get their hands on it; however, the excitement was quickly turned down by disgust due to the problematic version of the game.
In fairness to Rocksteady, they were quick to act on it and provided an update right away, but the 2.0 Patch did not do much in addressing the problem which caused a stir to the fans of the Batman Arkham Knight.
That being said, recently, according to PC Games, Rocksteady with Nvidia's quality assurance team has been working relentlessly to fix the issue or issues of the game. The developer behind the hit game GTA series also released a statement pointing out that the fixes for the PC version will be available in the next coming weeks. There were no further details provided by either Rocksteady or Nvidia with regard to the specific release date of the fix.
While in the subject, Kotaku published an article of Rocksteady's priority with regard to the issues of the game. Rocksteady cited that they will start in reducing the frame rate hitches, optimizing the system memory and VRAM usage, improving the performance on all GPUs, and minimizing the spec AMD GPU for the Radeon HD 7870 2GB.
In all fairness to Warner Bros. and Rocksteady, they pulled out the game from Stream's website and promised not to release the game until everything is fixed. However, the fix seems longer than usual to take, prompting the tech and game experts to question the capacity and ability of the team to really fix the issue.
Batman Arkham Knight was an instant success for the PS4 and Xbox One console when it was released on June 23, 2015. The PC version of the game was released afterward with hopes to duplicate its success in the game console platform but, unfortunately, failed miserably.
