Microsoft Releases Halo 5: Guardian Cinematic Trailer

Halo 5's cinematic trailer is so realistic, anyone whose not familiar with the game will mistake it for a movie. Microsoft has truly brought their A game in the next Halo instalment. The recently released trailer is the proof that Halo 5 will be the barometer of action games moving forward.

The trailer was released by Redmond and 343 Industries basically less than two months before the official release of the much-anticipated game. The 3.5-minute cinematic trailer has so far garnered tons of views, just days after its release in the social media video sharing website YouTube.

Halo 5 will feature the lead character Jameson Locke, which will lead a group that was deployed to take on protagonist groups, Covenant, and Promethean forces. According to Microsoft, the venture is so far the software giant's most ambitious, robust, and epic campaign they have tackled so far.

Aside from Locke, the team is composed of an expert in tracking, asset recovery, and killing high value targets, Spartan Olympia Vale and Spartan Holly Tanaka, a child prodigy who is adept in different languages and used to work as a Navy Liaison as well as Spartan Edward Buck, who is a Spartan through and through.

Prior to the release of the game, a beta version was launched as a special package with the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The beta version of the game is driven on a four versus four showdowns in seven different maps and three different gameplay on top of a long list of customizable Spartan armor sets.

The Halo 5: Guardians will make its debut on October 27, 2015, for Xbox One only.
