Rockstar's 'Grand Theft Auto V' (GTA V) Rockstar Editor will finally arrive on PlayStation and Xbox consoles as announced by the game producer through an official statement during an interview with games review website.
According to the report, The 'GTA V' Rockstar Editor will allow gamers to capture their gameplay and edit it in a creative and easy way. The feature was initially rolled out for the PC gamers but due to the clamor of the public, the update will now head to the popular console games.
The announcement came from Rockstar's blog post which announced the winners of the Rockstar Editor contest. The contest was initiated by Rockstar a couple of months ago and asked their gamers to come up with the most innovative way to show off their luxury spoils, the 'GTA V' way.
In addition to the announcement of the winners, the game developer giant also announced the planned roll out of the expansion for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which was warmly received by the public.
For those who are living under a rock, the Rockstar Editor is a tool that allows the gamers to capture scenes from the game and customize them according to their preference.
The tool includes special camera modes, filters, depth of field, and audio customization. It is also equipped with a unique director mode that allows the gamers to stage their creative movie making sequences from a cast of characters from military faces to pedestrians and even animals.
After the video is done, it can be downloaded in popular video sharing social websites such as YouTube and Rockstar's own social club.
'Grand Theft Auto V' or 'GTA V' was released in 2013 available in different platforms. It was initially offered for PS3 and Xbox 360 and later on for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (2014) and later on for PC (2015). After 24 hours of its release, the game generated more than $800 million in revenue.
Although Rockstar confirmed the release of 'Grand Theft Auti V' Rockstar Editor for PlayStation and Xbox, the specific date has yet to be determined.
