Consumer electronics giant, Sony, adduced today a cinematic trailer for their about-to-be-released and remastered Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.
Developers and creators of the title, due to the previous version, were tagged as notorious corner cutters, with regards to developing the game, but the 2-minute teaser will surely erase the previous accusations.
The teaser used an enhanced graphics at 1080 pixel by 60 frames per second, together with an upgraded texture, lighting, and rendering.
Its soundtrack also uses state of the art enhancements that gives the game an improved and remastered audio and sound effects.
With these ameliorations, the trailer surely served its purpose to leave a long-lasting mark on its target market, which will definitely remember the game come official release date.
On an official press release by Naughty Dog's Eric Monacelli, said that the game's defining moment is the exchange between Sully and Drake. He also points out how the story narrates the journey of Drake in achieving greatness from simple beginnings.
Aside from the teaser, Sony also revealed the game's gameplay including the game modes that will be emphasized in the collection such as the explorer game mode, speed run mode, and brutal difficulty mode.
The Japan-based giant pointed out that the explorer mode is targeted towards the first timers, which will allow the gamers to tackle the game according to their own pace with a reduced difficulty of the game while the brutal mode is geared towards the more advanced gamers.
The brutal mode, however, needs to unlocked through the game's crushing option. On the other hand, the speed run mode will add competitiveness through time-bound challenges.
The remastered game will also bring back the popular Photo Mode which will allow the gamers to go over 65 character skins from the three previous versions of the game.
As of this article, the developers are working persistently on top of partnering with the cream of the crop game developers such as Blue Point Games who are responsible for bringing to life iconic games like Metal Gear Solid, Ico & Shadow of the Colossus, and God of War.
The Nathan Drake Collection is set to be dropped officially on October 7 in EU and on the 9th in North America. The game is also available for pre-orders through Amazon and other retail outlets.
