"Thanks to GOG Galaxy, we're able to bring in major new titles, and the award-winning Telltale series are a prime example of that," says Guillaume Rambourg, Managing Director at GOG.com. "Gamers finally get to enjoy the engaging, story-driven adventures DRM-free: anywhere and at any time, but also benefit from achievements and other optional GOG Galaxy features if they want to. It's the freedom of choice that GOG.com is all about."

Telltale has made a name for itself adapting existing properties into new narrative-driven adventures. Players user point and click gameplay and multiple dialogue options to decide the outcome of the story, a formula Telltale has used successfully in its The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us franchises. It has a planned Minecraft title coming up, as well.

Telltale's Game of Thrones series tells the story of House Forrester, a family mentioned briefly in theA Song of Ice and Fire books but not featured in the story in the novels or HBO's show. The games tell an original story created by Telltale, but one that occurs alongside the events of the show and occasionally intertwines with its famous characters.
