IGN reports that everyone's favorite fowl with attitude issues against green pigs will be swinging onto major consoles in time for Christmas. Rovio and Activision will bring Angry Birds Trilogy to the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo 3DS. Speaking to Petri Järvilehto, executive vice president of games for Rovio, IGN probed into what would make it into the HD transfer:
"The backgrounds have been animated, we've added lighting modes, reactive backgrounds, the list goes on and on. We believe that there are a lot of people on the consoles who appreciate a great casual game play experience. This is a game that resonates across a wide audience on many platforms."
The set will include the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Season and tie-in to the film with the same name, Angry Birds Rio. No word about any of the free updates making it onto the console release, or sign of the majestic eagle.
