Hope you weren't looking for tickets for the 2015 New York Comic Con, because they're almost all sold out. Thursday is still available, however, and you can always pay more from resellers!
The NYCC tickets went on sale at 12:00 noon EST yesterday, but it did not go smoothly. Thousands of fans jammed the servers anticipating chaos from their experience buying tickets in past years, and weren't disappointed when they were met with it. This year the site appeared to go offline entirely at some points, and at one point the official twitter account begged people to stay off their site and just go directly to the ticket link in order to alleviate things.
We have heard from numerous people who spent hours in the virtual queue only to see the site crash or produce errors. Some people tried it on multiple computers, which said different tickets were available. Despite the hours of issues people still manged to get in, and when they did the tickets went fast.

VIP tickets were the first to go, followed by 3-Day and then 4-Day passes. Saturday passes went soon after, followed by Kid's Day and Sunday tickets. Thursday passes are still available for those of you young enough to not have obligations, or old enough to not care about them.
There will likely be other opportunities for NYCC tickets in the months to come- Midtown Comics had tons to sell last August for the convention, so many that 1,000 people camped out overnight for them- as well as giveaways and other opportunities.
Plus, you can always purchase them from resellers! eBay and StubHub are already full of people trying to make money on the tickets. It's pretty foul that scalpers helped contribute to this mess and are going to benefit from it, but until they do something to stem the tide this will just keep happening.
Hopefully next year they will be more prepared, perhaps spreading out the sales of badges over a period of time so they don't get as slammed.
But for those of you who managed to get tickets- see you at the New York Comic Con in October!
