A big new feature has arrived in popular mobile title DragonVale, allowing players to breed dragons with their friends.
A Roundup Of Features Coming In The Next Boom Beach Update
Dragon breeding is a large part of the game as it is, but the new system will allow players to select a dragon from one of their friends' collections and use the two to create new eggs. This both adds new breeding possibilities to the game and further encourages players to take part in the social aspect of DragonVale.
Five new Galaxy Dragons have also been added--players will receive one of these creatures (images below). The developers say "rare hybrids" will be opened up to players with the Cooperative Breeding feature, giving access to combinations that were not achievable before. The Cooperative Breeding Cave structure has been added to the game to make use of the new feature.

"DragonVale launched in 2011, and we have seen more than 35 million downloads worldwide with a large portion of our fan base actively playing the game since its inception," said Julian Farrior, CEO of Backflip Studios. "We strive to innovate within the game to keep players engaged and entertained. Cooperative breeding not only unlocks new dragon combinations, but encourages social interactions and collaboration between players."
The trailer below provides a preview of cooperative breeding, giving players a glimpse of how exactly it will work. More than 220 unique dragon combinations are now available--DragonVale is available for free on iOS and Android.
