It may've been a leak, but at least we now know Marvel's next game won't be about spiders or men in suits. It'll be about monkeys.
More specifically, Hit Monkey.
The simple monkey turned master assassin debuted as a somewhat joke in "Hit-Monkey" #1 back in February 2010,came back for an appearence in "Deadpool" where the titular merc with a mouth found out he was being hunted by said assassin and has since languished in the minds of comic book fans. The gun, however, may've been pulled too fast as High Moon Studios launched and then quickly retracted the website announcing the game with the appropriate tagline of "S#0! just got bananas."
Scheduled for 2013, we're sure more information will come up during Comic-Con this weekend when the game was supposed to be originally announced. Instead it's out in the open and now some poor webmaster is put on the list of people to be whacked--by bananas, we're sure.
