Two More Characters Join PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

Two new characters have just been added to PlayStation All Stars Battle RoyaleTekken veteran Heihachi Mishima, and Toro, a marketing mascot used by Sony Japan.

Not his first guest appearance, Heihachi has appeared in the both the PS2 version of Soul Calibur 2, as well as Anna Kournikova's Smash Court Tennis of all things. Heihachi brings with him his pet bear, Kuma, another character from the Tekken franchise.

Toro, on the other hand, is, well...different. There's not a whole lot you can really say about..."it". Just watch the trailer below.

Heihachi and Toro join Nathan Drake and Big Daddy of Uncharted and BioShock respectively, as well as Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal, Colonel Radec from KillZone 2, Kratos from the God of War series, as well the titular Sly Cooper, PaRappa the Rapper, and Fat Princess.

Sony has shown several levels that were designed from games such as Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, Little Big Planet, and God of War. Given that appearances from characters of these games wouldn't be too far fetched an idea. These new trailers bring a new level, the Dojo from PaRappa the Rapper. Viewers can even snag an eyeful of

Fighting will take place in a variety of configurations. Players can take the battle online with new set of challenges, including Tournament mode, Special Event Battle, and Custom Matches, which allows players to customize their matches according to their own rules.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is set to hit stores on October 23 on PS3 and Vita in the US, and will arrive in Europe the next day.
