We have survived the April showers, and now we turn the calendar over to May, which...does something, I'm sure. Mayflowers, or something like that. Regardless, just because the weather is getting nice out doesn't mean you can't find an excuse to stay indoors and play video games.

Broken Age, Act II (PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, iOS, Android) - April 28 - we've had to wait over a year for the conclusion to Tim Schafer's latest title, and after that ending, you can be sure it was a long one. But, being Schafer, we're confident the wait will be worth it. Players who have already downloaded Broken Age Act I can update the game to receive Act II. But if you haven't tried Broken Age yet, check out our retrospective on it and Schafer's career. It really is a truly great little gem of an adventure.
The Witcher 3 Should Have Zero Loading Screens For Open World Adventure
State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition (Xbox One) - April 28 - the popular last gen survival game finally comes to Xbox One along with all previously released DLC and updates, which should make for a smoother experience all around. However, it is missing the very fun co-op mode that was such a hit. So if playing with friends is your thing, you might want to hold off until the company gets its act together.
WWE 2K15 (PC) - April 28 - the beloved wrestling franchise - though its latest entry may not be the most well received - makes its debut onto the PC with all the bells and whistles from last November's console version: Showcase modes, single, multiplayer, career builder; plus every bit of DLC previously released! Good things come to those who wait, indeed.
Tropico 5 (PS4) - April 28 - the civ building strategy series gets a full next gen upgrade. Guide your civilization from meager colony to world superpower and beyond. Will you rule with an iron fist, or will you write your own constitution and take advice from fellow leaders? It's all up to you to decide.
The Weaponographist (PC) - April 29 - "The Weaponographist is a high-speed, top-down dungeon-crawling arena combat game. Cool kids might call it a "Roguelike". When Doug McGraves, demon hunter for hire, is cursed because he's kind of a jerk, he is forced into doing his business for free. And what's worse, his weapons will eventually fall apart in his hand, forcing you to constantly be on the move in this delightful looking title.
Pinball FX 2 - Star Wars Pinball: Star Wars Rebels (PS 3, PS 4, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Steam, Mac, iOS, Android and Amazon) - April 29 - the cast from the hit animated series comes to the biggest stage of all: pinball! "The table will feature fully-animated starships including the Ghost and TIE fighters, a flaming engine thruster spindisk, Chopper's own mini playfield, and seven exciting missions inspired by the show."
Sky Force Anniversary (PC, Mac) - April 30 - the stunningly great shmup turns TEN years old this week, and it's still as much as fun now as it was then. The iOS version is one of the must haves for any player - and features some of the most unobtrusive F2P elements you will ever encounter. Fans of Gradius, Galaga, 1941 and all the other timeless top-down space shooters should definitely pick this one up.
Did we miss any? Let us know in the comments. Good playing out there this week!
