The Star Wars Battlefront revival is being officially unveiled tomorrow at Star Wars Celebration, but we may already have a release date.
Halo Spartan Strike Now Available On Steam, iOS, And Windows Phone
A NeoGAF user has uncovered mention of a possible launch day in the official website's source code. Based on what's written there, it appears the game will be released on November 17.
The word for word source code reads as follows: "The latest news and updates for Star WarsTM Battlefront. Available November 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC." This is certainly not a set-in-stone confirmation, but it's better than nothing and is the best lead on a release date right now. Putting that on the official site, unless it's outdated or a complete placeholder, likely means the date has (or at one point had) significance.
Master Chief Collection April Update Will Fix Ranks And Add Punishments For Quitters
EA promised to unveil the game at Star Wars Celebration a few weeks back, though did not specifically say we would see gameplay. We've been teased with CGI already, though, and actual footage or details would be the next logical step for a reveal. For those who have moved on to the next generation of hardware, it's promising that the game is exclusively available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC as far as the source code says. Tune in tomorrow for news as the game is unveiled live.
