We may not have been too positive on the Amazing Spider-Man, whether it taking a cue from the Iron Man 2 video game to act as an epilogue or how the swinging mechanics were handled. But one thing that definitely stood out were the Arkham City style fighting flow that is worth experiencing, especially if you're still twitchy with the Y Button after going through the Game of the Year edition in Arkham.
This dev video showcases the Web Rush's ability to be both agile spider and annoying wiseguy with quips, stealth attacks and dropping conveniently placed boxes onto unsuspecting Oscorp employees. It's a lot of fun at first, but the repetitive nature of figuring out which two boxes you'll drop down on the guards before zipping to the ceiling can sink it.
After the 28th or 30th time though. The Amazing Spider-Man is out for consoles now and next week in theaters.
