Marvel has announced that they're cancelling 33 comics this summer. This is going to create a void that needs to be filled in the new universe that Marvel is creating. Here are some of the Battleworld comics that will be coming to replace the cut titles.
33 Marvel Comics Cut To Make Room For Secret Wars And The New Universe
These new comics, reported by the Hollywood Reporter, are a roundup of various realities. Some are extremely popular such as Old Man Logan and Plant Hulk, while others are newer and haven't had time to gain traction such as Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps.
In addition, Comicbook.com also reported that Civil War would also be featured during the Secret Wars. This series was one of the most popular shakeups in Marvel history and also what will be the basis of the third Captain America film in the MCU.
Copycat And Weasel Will Be In New Deadpool Movie, Casting Announced
These new books will be launching starting May to be released throughout the summer. You probably do not have to purchase every book to understand what's happening with the new continuity in Battleworld (although it would probably help). This is likely a great time to think about that Marvel Unlimited membership you've been toying with.
