Turtle Rock is releasing the first batch of post-release DLC for its asymmetrical multiplayer shoot-em-up Evolve later this month.
Homeworld Remastered Review: Spacetravel, Redefined
The new content will introduce four new hunters and one new monster - the Behemoth - to the alien world of Shear on March 31, when the DLC releases on all platforms.
According to the official update post, the new humans - one of each class - were already on Shear and have had a hell of a time. Players can assume the role of Torvald (Assault), who comes equipped with some high powered mortar cannons; Crow (Trapper), with his faithful Batray, Gobi, is excellent for scouting ahead; Slim (Medic), a genetically modified human - more insect now than man - and cap sap the strength of the monster to help fuel his healing; and finally there's Sunny (Support), who has a very...sunny disposition, but don't let that fool you. She can give each of the team members some great boosts, and deliver out some damage herself when the time comes.
The Latest Warframe Update For PS4 Will Steal Your Dreams
Coming up against the hunters is the Behemoth. Named with the help of fans, the rocky crag of a monster was "literally made as large as we could make him." While the big guy can't run or jump, he can roll - as evidenced in a previous previous trailer which has him chasing after Griffin in a playful homage to Raiders of the Lost Ark (complete with almost losing the hat). He's basically a giant rolling boulder of destruction and if that wasn't bad enough, he can summon rock walls, toss lava bombs, grab you from afar with his Tongue Grab and can literally rend the earth it twain.
The Behemoth is free for players who pre-ordered the game with the Monsters Expansion pack. Otherwise, it'll cost $14.99. The hunters come as part of the season pass, which runs for $24.99 or can be bought individually for $7.49.
Good hunting out there!
