Lego Batman 2 Launch Trailer Highlights Justice League and Corny Jokes

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes keeps looking like the light-hearted Lego game that we need, but not the one that we deserve. Scratch that, it seems exactly what kids and corny joke lovers with an eye for various suits would deserve. The game launches today across nearly every platform from mobile to console with a PC version expected in August.

The premise is simple: all of the DC Universe villains have banded together to take on Batman with Lex Luthor's new weapon that can deconstruct any material, say like a Batmobile. This means Batman has to call in his friends, the Justice League, including Green Lantern, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter and more importantly, the Man of Steel, Superman.

It's also the first Lego franchise game to feature voice acting--although the voice talent isn't the same as Arkham City, they're still recognizable additions from Justice League Unlimited, Justice League: Doom, Batman: Under the Red Hood  and Superman: The Animated Adventures
