In another move towards TTT: Total Tournament Takeover, Artosis, Azubu and HungryApp have teamed up to bring some of the world's best Hearthstone players to square off against one another in the OTK Hearthstone Invitational Skirmish, a two day mini-tournament showcase event.
Heartbreak And Hearthstone: Scenes From The November Blizzcon Qualifier
The stakes aren't high - a mere $2,500 - but it will prep the players for the upcoming OTK Hearthstone Invitational League this year. The tournament will take place Tuesday, March 17 and Thursday, March 19 via Azubu.tv/Azubu. The games begin at 5 p.m.
Famed casting team Artosis and Tasteless will be commentating on all the matches.

"I look at the OTK Invitational as our love letter to the Hearthstone community," said Artosis. "I have been wanting to make this invitational happen for a long time, and I'm excited to finally launch it with the help of Azubu and HungryApp. With the insane line-up we have brought to the table, we hope that viewers tune in and respond positively to the event, so that we can bring much more Hearthstone content to Azubu."
And what a lineup it is. Get to see some of the world's top players basically play the same nine accepted decks within the Hearthstone metagame (I jest because I am godawful at Hearthstone). Players like:
Rdu (@rduhearthstone)
Firebat (@archon_firebat)
Amaz (@archonamazhs)
Ekop (@ekop1337)
Thijs (@thijshs)
Kolento (@kolento)
StrifeCro (@strifecro)
Tidesoftime (@tidestv)
Log on, play a little best of 5 Hearthstone games (the finals are a best of 7), win up to $1000 for first place. Not a bad way to spend two days, really. Watch the very basic announcement trailer below, and be sure to check out all the action over at Azubu next week.
