Samsung Galaxy S3 has been a major success with its recent release. The S3 has also become a major threat as comparisons are made to competitors like HTC One X and Motorola DROID RAZR HD.
According to what has been speculated, Motorola Droid RAZR HD will be powered by dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. It will run at 1.5 GHz and comes with Adreno 225 GPU, HD display with a 1,196 x 720 pixels display resolution.
The Droid RAZR HD comes as a strong contender to Samsung's Galaxy S3, which is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core CPU. The processor is ideal for smartphones powered by LTE.
The new Motorola smartphone is expected to feature a 13 megapixel camera unlike the S3 which supports an 8-megapixel camera. However, the Droid RAZR HD will only carry 1GB of RAM, less than the 2GB for S3 Galaxy.
The Droid RAZR HD plans to run Android Ice Cream Sandwich while displaying HD with Retina screen display. These features are already integrated into the S3. The android Droid RAZR HD will have a redesigned user interface which was previously named "Moto Blur." Customers will get to use their smartphones for longer duration as Motorola is expected to bring RAZR HD with a 3300mAh battery, outdoing the Samsung S3's 2,100mAh battery.
Motorola Droid RAZR HD seems to have picked the ICS's Holo UI of Android 4.0 and also adopted electric blue colors unlike Samsung's Gingerbread green in its UI. The RAZR HD seems to have adopted only touch screen, while the S3 comes with a physical home button.
Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD screen, though at the moment, screen size for Droid RAZR HD is not known. Samsung already received 9 million pre-orders for its third-generation Galaxy S even before the smartphone has been launched. Pre order sales of Samsung Galaxy S3 overseas had gone viral breaking past records.
With all the rumored specs, will it be able to overtake the already successful Samsung Galaxy S3? Users can decide once The Motorola Droid RAZR HD is released, which is expected to be this fall.
