Square Enix was on hand at PAX East this weekend and showed off more of the upcoming Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae, the demo that will be made available in two weeks on PS4 and Xbox One.

We finally got a chance to see something - anything - other than the roughly two minutes of footage that been rehashed and repackaged over and over again. The main character of the game is Noctis, a sort of "prince" of a crime family, and a little backstory.
"When you've spent your entire life looking out at the serrated city skyline, it's easy to lose yourself in the sprawling Duscaen landscape. The prince and his retinue were halfway to Cauthess when their daydreams came to a sudden, screeching halt-the Regalia's last gasp before giving out to the unpaved backroads.

Now they were truly lost in the landscape: broken down by the side of the road with the Disc well out of walking distance. The Archaean, Titan, would have to wait. He'd been dormant for ages anyway. The first order of business was getting back on four wheels."
That certainly explains why they were all so woefully unprepared for their time out in the wood
Square also gave us a better look into Noctis' three companions. Their names may be the most Final Fantasy things in the world.
First up is Gladiolus Amicitia, who is perhaps best described as a big teddy bear. He's the tank of the group, the first guy in and the one with the highest HP of the four. His special move is the Breakslash, which deals out just a ton of damage onto all creatures big and small.
Guess what role Ignis Scientia, known as "Iggy" fulfills? If you guessed "the smart one" then you get a prize! Ignis adores Noctis and one day wants to become his consigliere, so Iggy has devoted himself to learning everything he can. Iggy serves as the healer of the group, and can poison his enemies with his special move, Venomstrike.
Finally, there's Prompto Argentum - his real name - the young kid looking to prove himself. He's anxious, he's hongreh and he gets knocked down a whole lot in the video demo. His special move is Bulletbind, which, uh...binds the enemy...with bullets.
Episode Duscae is only available for players who have pre-order Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on March 17.
