Dying Light is a game that is well-suited to entertaining gameplay video, and the developers figured out a way t make the footage even more entertaining.
Our Review Of Techland's Excellent Dying Light
Techland released an interactive story video that shows the same journey at both day time and night time. By pressing and holding the 'Z' key while you watch, you can switch between day and night as the player travels across the city of Harran. There are many more dangerous threats at night, the action is more intense with dramatic music making you feel the pressure.
The day and night cycle play a large part in how the game works--you're much more likely to get killed by more powerful zombies if you venutre out at night, and the video is meant to demonstrate this. The player is running the exact same route in both versions simultaneously, but the two experiences are very different.
Dying Light My Apocalypse Collectors Edition Comes With A Zombie-Proof Cabin For £250,000
You can be much more leisurely (as relaxed as possible in a zombie infestation, anyway) during the day, but one wrong move will get you killed at night. Attracting the powerful Viral zombies is sure death if they catch up to you, so keep moving! This video is pretty unique and it's a great idea, I think. Anyone who hasn't played the game will be able to understand the difference in night and day pretty easily, and it will look all too familiar to experienced players.
The video below is only the teaser--you have to go to the official site at the link to be able to interact with the video.
