Video Games Live Level 4 Releases This Weekend: Preview Four Tracks From The New Album Including Zelda, Final Fantasy And More

Video Games Live: Level 4, The New Album With 12 Tracks From Across Gaming History, Drops This Weekend

After a successful Kickstarter back in November, Tommy Tallarico and the musicians over at Video Games Live are set to release the next installment in the orchestral concert series, Video Games Live: Level 4.

Supernova, A New Hybrid MOBA/RTS, Enters Alpha Testing And You Can Join

The album is out on Sunday, March 1 and will feature a dozen newly remixed tracks from across the history of gaming, from Earthworm Jim, Donkey Kong Country and of course, The Legend of Zelda. There's still time to order and get the Kickstarter stretch goals.

Expect a great level of polish to Level 4. The album eschews the 'live' part of the series' name to deliver a fully remixed, studio recorded sound.

Assemble Your Own Team Of Final Fantasy Heroes This Spring With Record Keeper

You can listen to four of the upcoming tracks over at ZeldaUniverse. We cannot recommend Zelda's Lullaby enough, but the composition for the Final Fantasy VI Opera Scene is memorable in its direction. Not exactly as I would have done it - in fact, I don't think it should ever be done outside of THIS version - but the added beat gives it a little movement that feels long overdue.

The full list of tracks on Level 4 is as follows:

1. Donkey Kong Country
2. League of Legends "The Challengers"
3. Final Fantasy VI "Opera Aria Remix"
4. Cave Story
5. World of Warcraft "Magnificent Desolation"
6. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
7. Uncharted 2
8. Zelda's Lullaby
9. Resident Evil 5 "Wind of Madness"
10. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
11. Bioshock
12. Earthworm Jim (composed by Tommy Tallarico)

You can purchase the digital version, which will be released Sunday, or the physical CD, due out in April. Give a listen below.
