When you're a giant Japanese video game company with a zombie game, it only makes sense that you would team up with another giant Japanese video game company with a zombie game. And that is just what Square Enix and Capcom have done once again for the F2P card battler, Deadman's Cross.
The Week In Game Releases: Resident Evil. Dragon Ball And More
The new event, which runs from now until March 25, will mash-up the worlds of Deadman's Cross and the recently released Resident Evil Revelations 2, whose first episode dropped earlier this week.
The island that finds the family Burton, and the always enchanting Claire Redfield, fighting for survival will be featured as a new hunting zone in Square Enix's horror title. "During the event period, players must complete specific Resident Evil jobs to receive a R.E. hunt permits that will allow them to explore the island, and acquire Resident Evil Revelations 2 character icons and items, including 'Fist Aid Spray', as well as experience new crossover quests.
Square Enix To Release Dragon Quest Heroes In North America Later This Year
Several new limited edition cards will be revealed over the course of the event. Check back on the official site every few days to see what's lurking out in the shadows. Completing missions and rewards will net you various Resident Evil Revelations themed personas to show off.
Longtime fans of the classic survival horror series should welcome it back onto mobile devices. This marks the second time Resident Evil has crossed over with DMC; the first allowed players into that doomed town, Raccoon City, last July.
