The road to release for Call of Duty: Black Ops II is going to be worth it, after Treyarch premiered new in-game footage last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
The show started their Video Game Week off right with a specialized opening (for tomorrow!) and giving us a look at the squad system in Black Ops. Among other points brought up, how you perform in single player will lead off to branching storylines based on missions completion and failure. There's also the "Strikeforce" missions, which allow you to leap into any soldier, robot or quadcopter to truly blow up whatever's in your way. The addition of a zombie mode, hitned at a month ago, was confirmed but nothing detailed.
There was another landmark moment in CoW history last night: "You are having the least impact of any player in the history of Call of Duty," Activision President of Publishing Eric Hirshberg said.
Don't feel too bad. As soon as Hirshberg said that, Jimmy blew up a robot. Now he's the Most Least Impact award winner of any player in the history of Call of Duty.
