When the new Game Informer hit shelves, quite a few people got a little excited when they turned to the trade's preview of the upcoming Tomb Raider and saw Wii U listed under the platforms the game was to be released on.
However, this was nothing more than an unfortunate error. At the time, neither Square Enix or Crystal Games made any official announcements regarding a Wii U version of the game.
Author Matt Miller confirmed the information with a recent post on Game Informer's site, saying...
"Despite the magazine listing to the contrary, the new Tomb Raider reboot is not on the way to Wii U. In the interest of heading off misinformation at the pass, we wanted to drop a quick note correcting a mistake in the July issue of Game Informer, which is on shelves right now. We incorrectly listed Tomb Raider coming to Wii U, which is incorrect. Tomb Raider is headed to 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on March 5th of next year. We apologize for the error."
That's just the way the cookie crumbles. So given this, what can be expected from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2?
