Ironzilla, an independent game development startup, has teamed up with award winning composers for the soundtrack of the mobile game, Zombocalypse and are seeking funding through Kicksatarter.
These composers and sound designers have worked on Indie Game Castle Crashers and are responsible for producing iconic soundtracks such as the main menu theme song, "Four Brave Champions." They have done work on over 200 games and have also worked with companies such as Marvel, Coca-Cola, Disney, and Nickelodeon.
Tom Fulp, CEO of Newgrounds and co-creator of Castle Crashers said in a press release, "The music created by the Symphony plays a prominent role in the Xbox Live Arcade game Castle Crashers. It would not have been the same experience without those tracks!"
Zombocalypse's soundtrack will feature both orchestral and ambient scores and this is meant to submerge the player in its frantic arcade style action.
"It's a common avenue for Kickstarter projects and is usually successful with the fans," says SoS musical composer Nick Perrin about the Zombocalypse album. "A game experience really gives it's music more value, and vice versa as well, getting fans hyped and spreading word with content that will capture the feel of that experience."
According to Ironizilla, their "focus is on creating memorable experiences and rewarding gameplay, designed for casual gamers that want more out of a game."
