Twitter has recently changed its logo on Wednesday. There is no more text, bubbled typefaces, or the letter “t”. But unfortunately, no one seemed to have noticed the change.
The little blue bird image had always been associated with the social networking service provider for the past six years. Twitter has reported to have changed the design that will now be “universally recognizable symbol” for the company.
“Over the past six years, the world has become familiar with a little blue bird. The bird is everywhere, constantly associated with Twitter the service, and Twitter the company… Twitter is the bird, the bird is Twitter,” wrote Doug Bowman, Creative Director of the company, on the Twitter blog.
Bowman also explained that the new simplified design was derived from “three sets of overlapping circles” to represent how our “networks, interests and ideas connect and intersect with peers and friends”. Twitter also posted a YouTube clip on how the three circles formed the new simplified design of the blue bird.

However, people seemed to have not noticed the change at all.
Over 500 comments have been made on Twitter's YouTube channel as of Saturday, many of them not noticing any change from the past.
“[It’s] the same as the old one. Just rotated a bit counterclockwise," wrote a YouTube user with ID "AlwaheedKOD”.
Another user “TheChris0951” remarked, "It's still the same!!"
Check out the new Twitter logo for yourself and determine for yourself. Do you see any difference?
