Just Cause is a gleefully enjoyable franchise, giving players an open world in which to cause as much absurd chaos as possible. The third entry is on the way for current generation systems, and its debut trailer is quite good.

There's no gameplay to be found unfortunately, but we do get an incredibly stylish and appealing introduction to Avalanche Studios' next effort. The music choice, Torre Florim's Firestarter, is an excellent fit for the slow-motion action scenes unfolding.
It could have been a trailer for a number of games through the majority of it, to be fair, but we do get a glorious glimpse of protagonist Rico Rodriguez at the end. There's not much to say about this trailer other than that you should go ahead and watch, so what are you waiting for?

So far we've seen some screenshots and a developer commentary trailer for Just Cause 3, but other details are pretty sparse. We know that Rico will take aim at dictator General Di Ravello's 400-mile island, a similar setup to Just Cause 2 with a larger landscape. The previous game truly let you go anywhere within the environment, and the step up to the new hardware is exciting. Just Cause 3 is set for a holiday 2015 release date on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
