Digital Extremes has brought a massive new update to Warframe for all you Tenno out there.
World Of Hashtags! Blizzard Adds Twitter Integration Into Upcoming WoW Patch
Update 15.13 revamps the universe in a big way, adding new weapons, frames, game modes and a whole new villain to deal with. Vey Hek is massing a fleet of ships and readies them to attack and he hopes to overwhelm the Space Ninjas with brute force, but we shall not let that happen, shall we?
In order to do so, players can take on the game's latest operation: Eyes of Blight "Players need to use Archwings to fight through the depths of space and find a way inside the Balor Fomorian vessels to shut down their main reactors - all while avoiding overwhelming Grineer space forces."
Asteroids: Outpost, Everything You'd Expect A Modern Remake To Be Like
Aiding players are a plethora of new weapons, such as the AKJAGARA dual pistols and the Uru Sugatra, which complements the Uru Syandana used in the Tenno Absolution Ceremony. Or you can pick up the Tipedo, with which "staff-wielding Tenno can finally rejoice at having a way to both slash and pummel the enemy with only a single tool." Purchase them all at the in-game market.
Speaking of markets, Warframe is getting their own bi-weekly version of Xur, Baro Ki'Teer, an enigmatic Void Trader who comes bearing only the finest of goods. He arrives as part of the new Relay system, a sort of social gathering point for players waiting in-between missions. While at a Relay "players can form squads, change loadouts, chat, or visit any of the Syndicate rooms to purchase Offerings. Players can also turn in Medallions found in Syndicate Missions for bonus Standing."
The massive update also adds the new Corpus Hijack mission. "Similar to the original Hijack, Corpus Hijack has Tenno escort an ATV loaded with valuable Corpus information to its extraction point." The Spy Game mode has also gotten a complete overhaul. Where before players just happily killed their way towards victory, the updated Spy missions will focus more heavily on stealth. "Being detected will mean losing rewards and bonus Affinity, even when the Mission is complete.
To better encourage players to sneak around, new Stealth Streaks have been added. "tealth kills can now receive Affinity multipliers if done in succession. Players will have 30 seconds from one stealth kill to the next to increase their Affinity multiplier, which goes up to 5x for melee and 2x for Ranged."
Warframe is available for free for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Try it out today. See you in the black, folks.
