The new season of House of Cards is right around the corner and there are a lot of questions about what the new season will bring (and how things will end). There has been a synopsis posted that may reveal the plot of the first episode.
Will Doug Return On New Season Of House Of Cards? Sources Say No
"Claire discovers that a drone with stealth technology is being used to track the sexual, clandestine excursions of Capital Hill targets. The developer of the classified tracking technology was a school friend of now-President Frank Underwood," the synopsis posted on IMDB read.
Now take this with a grain of salt. As we have said before, IMDB, although great for figuring out who that one guy was in that one thing, is notoriously unreliable when it comes to upcoming movies and TV. It can be edited by the public and this may be bogus.
New Motion Poster Reveled For House Of Cards, Brings Up New Questions
In case it isn't, let's explore it.
The fact that the technology was developed by a school friend of Francis could be a good or bad thing. On the one hand, it could be a new ally for the President since his are dropping like flies (Alas poor Doug! We hardly knew thee!) or it could be a very old enemy.
After all, clandestine excursions are right up the President's alley.
The fact that it was "discovered" by Claire indicates that it may be an enemy as Francis has been pretty clear that he and his wife are a team. If it isn't an enemy and he's been keeping secrets then this may be the beginning of the end for the power couple.
House of Cards returns to Netflix on February 27.
